Is LUXLINE free?
Yes. The map, live departures and trip planning are completely free. Public transport in Luxembourg is also free to ride for everyone.
How accurate are the times?
Live departures come from the official open transit data for Luxembourg, on a best-effort basis. Real-time times are shown with a live indicator; everything else is scheduled. Planned-journey arrival times are estimates. For time-critical travel, always allow a margin.
The map isn't loading. What's wrong?
The interactive Apple map is keyed to the luxline.lu domain, so it appears when you visit luxline.lu (not a preview link). If it still doesn't load, check that your browser isn't blocking Apple's map service, then refresh. Search, nearby stops and trip planning work regardless.
How do I plan a trip?
Open the live map, choose "Plan a trip", and enter a destination. Leave the start empty to depart from your current location. LUXLINE finds the best direct route or single-change route across the real network and draws it on the map. There is no AI in the web planner - it reads the timetable directly.
Is there an app?
The LUXLINE iOS app is coming to the App Store. It adds favourites, an optional AI journey planner and more. Email us to be told when it lands.
How is my privacy handled?
No ads, no tracking, no accounts. Your location is used in your browser and never stored by us. Read the full privacy policy.
I found a wrong stop or route.
Transit data comes from the official open data feed, which we keep in step with. If something looks off, email us the stop or line and we'll look into it.
